Huawei just released a dual camera P9 smartphone!
For the first time in the history of smart phones we have a phone with three powerful cameras. Â On Wednesday 6 April 2016, the Chinese company Huawei redefined camera technology in smartphones after releasing its Leica certified dual rear camera smartphone- the P9 Smartphone. This new addition comes with two powerful 12 megapixel rear cameras with a photo capturing ability never experienced before.
The design is optimized in such a way that the first camera focuses on color capturing while the second focuses on monochrome. Both of these cameras have laser outofocus capacity for accuracy and precision.
The P9 phone comes in two different full HD sizes. The smaller has a 5.2 inch display with a 3000mAh off the charger battery life. The bigger P9 now known as the P9 plus- comes with a 5.5 inch display and a 3400mAh off the charger battery life. These latest smartphones ru
n on Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed on Huaweiâ€™s own EMUI 4.1 engine.
Other features of the P9 smartphone include:
- A USB type c charging port
- An 8 megapixels front camera for selfie
- A rear fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
- The standard P9 comes with an internal memory of 32 GB offering 3GB RAM
- P9 Plus offers 4GB RAM from its 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Earlier this year, Huawei announced that they would be having a strategic partnership with Leica. The release of the P9 Smartphone with its amazing dual cameras is a clear indication that the partnership is indeed a rewarding union.
The P9 Smartphone is expected to retail for about $850. By 16th of April it is expected that the phone will have arrived in China, selected European countries and most of the Middle East. It is yet to be determined on when and whether the phone will be introduced to the US and African Markets.
